I wasted dollars on two recovery programs, which don’t ever recover 50% of my deleted files. One of my colleague suggested me to try this free app. I tried it and I’m extremely happy with the outcome. Remo Recover Free edition lets you recover 1 GB of lost data. Comes in pretty handy when you have lost only a couple of megabytes of data. Anything above the stipulated 1GB, you'll have to buy the pro version (which I already own, since my ext. HD crashed with about 400GB of data). Works just as well as the pro version but with a few restrictions.
